Hello All!
Together with my friends we planning to be there 22.05. We will go for a such event first time. I spend 2 days in i-net already, I find out almost everything - how much it will cost, where to go... e.t.c.
But I can't find the info about safety. Should we have helmets? Is it possible to rent them right there? what cars are allowed to race? So, can anybody give a link to english instruction, or at least some site where they are exists, and Google will be able to translate from Finnish?

Hello and welcome!

here's a few tips for you regarding Your concerns:

Helmets, _always_ when driving in our events on tracks. We have some to rent at the event, but it'll be best if you have one of your own.

we have our own inspection crew who checks the car is suitable for track, also you need insured and road legal vehicle. We have separate turns for motorcycles and cars.

1. Should we reqister in advance?
2. Will ski helmet be OK , or FIA omolageted one is a must ?

1. I'm not sure what you mean by registering, but everything can be done at the track so no registering beforehand needed. It's better if you do so of course, but not necessary.

2. as for the helmets, I recommend a normal, good condition motorcycle helmet or such.

2. How much does it cost?
3. When does registration for training races start?
4. Ski/snowboard helmets are not allowed?

Some answers:

1. starting at 9 AM and closes at 7 PM
2. beforehand tickets to event 12 euros, tickets to event + track payment 42 euros
From the gate: event only: 15 euros, track payment 45 euros
3. registration starts at 9-10 AM
4. ski/snowboard helmets are not allowed
5. Video shooting is allowed

If you are coming to timeattack competition then there is littlebit differences

Raceoffice opens 7.30
first drivermeeting is 8.45
and timeattack practices starts at 9

I would suggest you come as soon as you arrive to the event (gates open at 9AM), schedule hasn't been published yet, but I think sometime around 9

There are some companies renting race cars in Finland.

Try to contact some of them and ask about renting track car. If they do not, they'll probably know some one who does
