Hello to everyone,
it's been a while since summer season!

Just a quick question about the coming event in Hyvinkää 23.01.2010 (I really tried to translate the page with the information, but the translator seems to be very poor =( ) - Is it going to be like a race, or like just a practice? Are you going to have some time-meter, sorted results, etc? We are planning to come on 23rd with lots of people from here (EVO/STI generally).
Is it suitable to come on Nokian HKPL 4/5? As I've mentionaed in the information page the event is going to be from 10.00 am up to 5.00 pm. Do you have any special requirements for the car?

I'll do my best to give you a basic translation for your questions directly from infotext of Hyvinkää event.

so, there will be practice, but also winter version from street car sprint. It has two classes, 2wd and 4wd.
For this you need street legal car, street legal tyres and A HELMET! <-- (read: A HELMET)

I don't think that we have any time-meters, sorted results are possible ( I don't know for sure tho).

You are most welcome to come with those tyres also. Special requirements for cars, basically same as summer. winter tyres are a must.

what else.. someone from upper food chain shall fill in the gaps I've missed here.

I appreciate it. There are going to be the vary from 5 up to 10 cars from Russia (EVO/STI).
We have few more questions. You see, here in Russia all the events like this are usually the competition, so we will really appreciate if you can use some time-meters to be sure that everyone know who wins
Do you think there will be something to set it up? It's not a problem if it costs more money to ride with the meters. We will come anyway, but the competition will be highly appreciated. Is it the "winter version from street car sprint" you're talking about? I just didn't get the idea - if it's possible to make sorted results then how do you come to know who is the best?

Also one man is going to come for two days with the family, so if possible can you please advice and good Hotel or a cottage to rent? (I think everyone else prefers Cumulus/Sokos/Scandic hotels, we usually use it when we come to you on Radalle ) but he still wants something special
Everyone has the helmets here, so I believe that wouldn't be a problem Basically we have Nokian HKPL 5/7 so it's also all right.

Only timing is in KatuAutoSprint and there you have 2 stints and best time wins. Because day's theme is practise driving, there isn,t any public timing services. I preferred to use racechrono program and 5hz gps...
